A MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER MEMBERS

"When Solihull Theatre Company was set up its overriding aim, as it is now, was the enjoyment of its membership. The enthusiasm and talent is always evident at the fund-raising events, in rehearsals, on stage, in the pub and at the parties! Members, however inexperienced, have always been encouraged to “have a go” - at the auditions, for election to committee and as members of the production team. Through this policy, Solihull Theatre Company has continued to unearth new stars on stage and discover in its ranks those who have done so much over the years to ensure the continuity, balance the books and most importantly, maintain the spirit of the society..."

Solihull Theatre Company - NODA

A FUN INCLUSIVE SOCIETY

We're a friendly group that year on year welcomes new members. Many of those who join us have never been on stage before. Rehearsals are hard work but fun. We hold social events such as quiz nights, trips to other shows and nights out!

MUSICAL CONCERTS AND PRODUCTIONS

Since 1993 our productions have been staged at The Core Theatre formally known as Solihull Arts Complex. Each year we perform a major musical production in the spring. Shows such as the Rodgers & Hammerstein classics have been frequently supplemented by more challenging shows such as Sweeney Todd and Jekyll & Hyde; always with great success and the accompanying glow of pride in the achievement of the membership and the continuous development of the society.

We've also staged smaller productions such as The Scratch Concert to celebrate our 20th Anniversary which involved rehearsing and performing a concert in one day!

We're privileged to have worked with many talented people on and off stage over the years all of whom enjoy working with us and ensure we never stop evolving.
